Quick Start

Start

Make your ePub ebook, you just need load you manuscript by either following steps,

• Import a MS Word document.(one document for one ebook).
• Import one or more HTML files(in one same folder, press shift to select more).

Then click Make ePub button.

* Some letters in result epub will be shown as *(trial mark) in trial version.

You can click menu file/open example to try examples first

Optional steps

• Specify the book name.
• Indicate a place to save the book.
• Assign a book cover picture.

For MS Word document

• Chapter auto split on section break.
• TOC auto extraction on headings.
• Pass epubcheck.
• Support most formattings.
• Support images,tables, bullets and equations.
• Support footnotes and endnotes.
• Support most language and characters.
• Word HTML optimization.
• Work with most Words (2000-2010).

Note At least an installed MS Word needed

Please reference example documents as your manuscript template, well structured document with headings and section breaks recommended.

For multi HTML files

• Auto generate title, editable
• Arrange chapter order(Drag the left bar of the list)
• HTML element filter
• Support windows-1252 special characters

Note HTML files should be valid XHTML, ePub Maker will not validate them.

XHTML knowledge needed for better result.
